Curiosiv is an independent educational YouTube channel based in India, run by Girdhar Kumar and Vojesh. Our website is curiosiv.netlify.app and our YouTube channel is youtube.com/@curiosiv.
This privacy policy applies to the Curiosiv website only. It explains what information we collect when you visit our site or sign up for our newsletter, and how we handle it.
We only collect information you choose to give us. Here's exactly what that includes:

We use your data for one purpose only — to communicate with you about Curiosiv. Specifically:
Email address: Used to send newsletter emails when a new video is published. We also use it to reply to contact form messages.
Name: Used only to personalise newsletter emails. Never displayed publicly anywhere.
Form messages: Read by the Curiosiv team and used to respond to your query or consider your topic suggestion. Not shared with anyone else.
We will never use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than communicating directly with you about Curiosiv content.
To run the website and newsletter, we use a small number of trusted third-party services. Here's who they are and why:

We take reasonable steps to protect your data. Specifically:
Newsletter data is stored with Brevo, which is GDPR-compliant and uses industry-standard encryption. We do not store your email address on our own servers.
Contact form submissions are stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to the Curiosiv team. Google Workspace is secured with two-factor authentication.
The website itself is served over HTTPS (encrypted connection) via Netlify. There is no login system, no user accounts, and no database on this website.
Curiosiv's content is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13.
If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal data to us (for example, via the newsletter sign-up), please email us at contact.curiosiv@gmail.com and we will delete it immediately.
If we make any significant changes to this privacy policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify newsletter subscribers by email.
We'll never make changes that reduce your rights without clearly telling you first.
